Miss Cline
I am a Paso native and currently live on the coast in Morro Bay. I graduated from Sacramento state, where I was able to travel abroad in Madrid for a year. I enjoy traveling, running, soccer and spending time on my porch reading. My teaching philosophy centers around social-emotional well being, student engagement and culturally responsive pedagogy.
Mrs. Gade
Hello Baywood Families! My name is Jessie Gade. I live here in Los Osos with my husband and our two sons, ages 10 and 12. I am a lifelong learner and I look forward to sharing my love for learning with your First Graders.
Mrs. Taylor
I am thrilled to be a First Grade teacher at Baywood! I bring to my classroom a love for learning, an absolute enjoyment of children, and a passion for teaching reading. As both a mom and a teacher, I realize how important the classroom community can be to a child. I strive to create a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment for all students where they can problem solve, think, learn, make mistakes, and challenge themselves. I emphasize the importance of friendship and teamwork and value each and every member of our classroom - including families!
When I'm not in my classroom, you can see me out hiking, biking, paddle boarding, playing at local playgrounds, at the beach, or camping with my husband and two kiddos, Shelby and Chase, and our black Lab Jasmine.

First grade is a fun, amazing time in your child's life. They will learn and grow so much this year and I feel fortunate to be a part of your child's learning! Please feel free to call me or email me to set up a time to talk if you have any questions or concerns. I am excited to get to know you and your child this year and for our First Grade adventures!
